Directions
The residence is located at 9720 SW Burton Drive.
A distinguishing landmark is a large sailboat hull in
the right side yard. When you arrive in Burton (traveling south on Vashon highway) take a left at the stop sign, proceeding towards the loop (east), right before you turn onto the loop, you will see, on your left, John’s house and my car (blue Volvo on the opposite side of the street). Please park behind or in front of my car. The tea house is behind his house and is accessible from the left side yard of the house through the gate. Just follow the stone path to the next gate which will bring you into the roji (Tea garden). Please enter and proceed left to the the machiai (waiting place) and wait for my arrival.
Guidelines
Remember to leave your jewelry behind and bring clean and or white
socks to wear into the tea room. Please contact me if you need
a chair or stool. We have cushions and yoga blocks. No suffering
in the tea house!
